Internet Explorer is one of the oldest browser search engines which have a lot of consumers. Microsoft developed it as a series of graphical web browsers in the year 1995. For the first time, it was released as a part of the add-on package plus for Windows 95 in that year.

 But as time goes by, it has not had very active developments from its developers. So this results in its bad performance. ●    Restart internet explorer:

●    Restart the computer:

This option helps in clearing all the electronic debris left by all the actions you do while using the computer, like installing, deleting programs, opening, closing, etc. So restarting the computer helps the browser get a fresh start by quitting all its previous searches, histories, etc. So it is a good idea if your browser has stopped working instantly. 

●    Turn off add-ons 

Sometimes add-ons interfere with the normal functioning of the web browser and also corrupt system files. So if your browser is not working, this may be the cause. So turn off add-ons and try opening the browser. If it starts properly as it is expected to be, and then turn on the add-ons one by one to know the functionality of the browser with add-ons.
